Identifying key challenges and objectives to be set out in a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda on microbiomes in the food systems for the European Commission is one of the objectives of the MicrobiomeSupport project. For this purpose, a survey has been launched, aiming at facilitating the alignment of efforts towards a joint long-term microbiome research and innovation strategy for sustainable, resilient, healthy and inclusive food systems.
The survey is organised in five thematic areas (Biodiversity, Primary Production, Food safety and quality, Human health, Healthy planet) and four transversal areas (Infrastructures, Data access and sharing, Knowledge transfer and innovation, Stakeholders and society awareness) that R&I policy should take into account in future strategic planning processes. Participants can contribute to each thematic area that is relevant for them.
Encouraged to participate are:
- individual experts
- representatives of businesses and industry
- policy makers
- members of an institute, university or institution
Your participation is very much appreciated. The more information we have, the better we can develop the R&I agenda for the next decade! The questionnaire will remain open until 31 March 2021. Answering the survey will take about 30 minutes.
We thank you for your support!
