With a successful Horizon Booster the #Microbiomes4Life created social media material about the importance and role of microbiomes within food systems. These materials were gradually released on the run up to 2021 World Microbiome Day with the special theme of ‘Sustainability’.

Microbiome Applications Improving The Food System
In June 2022 our partners published a paper describing 14 success stories of microbiome applications, resulting from microbiome research, that have created an environmental, economic and societal impact. We have created illustrated summaries of these, that show how microbiomes are successfully being used in various fields of the Agrifood system to benefit human, animal and environmental health. They can be downloaded for reuse!
