MicrobiomeSupport Association members will organise Task force groups to tackle specific issues important for the further development of the research field and resultant applications.
In 2024, two Task force groups were initiated:
- Task Force SRIA (Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda) aims to update recommendations for more impactful funding developed during MicrobiomeSupport CSA and ensure that these are widely disseminated and considered by policymakers and funders.
- Regulatory Task Force aims to develop a framework that ensures a better connection between research/development and regulation and thus facilitates the easier translation of microbiome science into applications.
