With microbiome research infrastructures still being underdeveloped for what the research community needs, it is refreshing to see more and more initiatives that show that changes are ahead! One of these initiatives is the EU-funded project IS_MIRRI21 which focuses on the “Implementation & Sustainability of Microbial Resource Research Infrastructure for the 21st Century”.
IS_MIRRI21 has launched a call for transnational access to microbial resource research institutions such as the Institute Pasteur and the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute. Users from research organisations and companies (in the fields of biotechnology, agrofood, pharmaceuticals, environment, etc.) are invited to apply for funded access to any of the 14 microbial facilities partners of the IS_MIRRI21 project across Europe. The TNA offers access to a wide variety of microbial resources, laboratories and state-of-the-art facilities and technological platforms.
The call deadline is 16 April 2021.
For more information on the transnational access call, please consult the call catalogue with information on services provided, eligibility criteria and application requirements.
